Back from being graded...

Back from being graded...
I just got five cards back that I sent away to get graded. I didn't realize how much the centering would affect the card, lol. The centering was the down fall on every card. That being said, i'm still some what pleased with most of the grades.

- 2011 Finest Mike Trout (9.5)
- 1993 Topps Derek Jeter (9.0)
- 1985 Topps Mark McGwire USA (7.5)
- 1982 Fleer Cal Ripken Jr. (7.5)
- 1983 Topps Wade Boggs (5.5)

Every card looks amazing but the centering is what did it. Even looking at the Wade Boggs card. I got 9 in corners, 9 in edges, 7.5 in surface, but 4.5 in centering. I'll know for next time. I'm still pleased with the grades.

Centering is probably the most important aspect visually in newer cards.

Yes for sure. I'll have a closer look before I send the next batch in.

Well, I sent it away with an order that the local hobby store sent. It usually costs about 20 bucks a card but he charged me 80, so not too bad.
