I have seen one of the purple Opening day ones on ebay but wasn't sure if it was real. The last time I checked I could not find mention of them anywhere saying the purple border exists. If they in fact do then I will have to pick that one up.

i think the purples are toys r us exclusive. i really like the base variations, they dont get the love they deserve. chrome rainbows are great but with a lot of the pictures topps uses the chrome doesnt look as clean as the base does.
