Who knows ... not to defend card companies, but I would assume that they would realize that if they ever got caught once using a fake gamer, they would be finished.

And remember, "Shenanigans" is a very serious charge around here, not to be thrown around lightly.

I am a PATCH GUY..So...here is my take..good or bad...

i have a few that look brand new from old dude's Gamers...one from Alan Page and i dont doubt its authenticity...they are not ALL going to be dirty,torn,scuffed up,look used or faded..
no way do they risk a Fraud charge/getting sued in Fed court..
ALL they have is their NAME....
like Me or you

AND....i would NEVER risk it for a few $$$$...Neither would they.

Hard to tell exactly from the pic, but to me the white sliver on the very far right of the patch looks slightly older than a new white jersey ... kind of grayish/pearlish, sort of?

I think it's fine. Remember, the patches/striping are pretty thick pieces of material, so they're a lot more durable.

I think it's a real patch, it's just not Blanda's. This is the discussion we had a few months ago and I asked ugameck to speak up about it.

The card companies cover themselves by saying it's game worn, but not disclosing the player. Pretty sure that's a McMuffin patch. It shows as much use as he did last season...
