100 Thousand Topps 1980's cards 1980-1987

RE: 100 Thousand Topps 1980's cards 1980-1987
Before you spend too much time entering them one by one, there's got to be an easier way. For starters, pull up, say, 1986 topps in the OPG, change the view to the max of 500, click "select all" then click "add selected" to your ORG. Then, go to page 2 of the results and repeat. Then, go back to your ORG where the 1986 cards are listed, click "select all" then add the minimum quantity you have of most cards (sounds like at least 25-50). Finally, go back through and check off all the cards you know you don't have (Bonds, etc), then mark a zero for all of those.

Not sure how you're going about things so far, but if you only have 300 entered so far, sounds like you might be doing it the slow way.

Maybe some other guys have a better suggestion. In any event, best of luck. Sounds like you have some interested traders here so far.

That's a great suggestion!
However, since they are from the 80's, he can just search for, say, 1985 Topps baseball. When the main link comes up, click the 'add to organize' button on the far right. Send them to a new folder labeled for that set (ie. 1985 Topps). It will add every card from that brand and year.
Then in the ORG page, 'trash' ANY cards you don't have and add the 'have' and 'trade away' #'s for the ones you do have.
Combining what I've posted and what 'uvaspina' posted will seriously speed up the process of adding the cards to Organize!

Hey, BG! Did you complete the '79 set yet? I was just wondering b/c I haven't been able to get on here for a few months. Also, I don't have many non-PC cards from 1980-85, but it can't hurt to check my ORG if you want to.

Hey there! Yup, I finished '79, now looking to finish '80-'85 and also starting on '75. Still have '33 and '34 Goudey, '34-'36 Diamond Stars, and '53 Bowman Color in the works, which will probably end up as lifetime projects Smile

I'm glad to hear that you finished the '79 set. I def. can't help with the 30's and 50's sets. Those will certainly take a long time, hopefully it won't be a life-long search for you!
There may be a few PC cards of mine that could help you with the early 80's sets but, it would take a major PC card I'm missing to get them. Anyway, I wish you good luck on those sets you're looking for. Just remember to check my ORG for anything I have that you need.
