Ron Santo elected to the Hall of Fame

Only Mike Schmidt has more HRs than Santo did at 3rd base...and his RBI totals are in the tops too...better BA than Robinson or Schmidt...I am not sure why people don't feel he didn't belong...his numbers are better than most of the 3rd basemen in there already...

Santo was a heck of a player, a class act, and definitely deserves the nod. It is a shame that he didn't live to see it though.
