no, not really..i just think they are not cards and dont belong in Boxes.. just another " make believe 1/1" for the card manufacturers to sneak into packs for filler...
i would never buy one unless it was at a less than $10 price tag... might trade for some..mabye..but in my eyes they are a low rent insert..

i am sending biglump 1 of the big cases un-assembled for his 2011 fotg NFL set...my best friend makes them for me and 1 other buddy here with a card fettish..hehe....(he's a real carpenter) not like me the concrete carpenter...lol!..( cough,..Hack..)

i dont pay a ton for plates myself. but will pick them up just so cyber cant get em if the price isnt too bad.

yeah i need to find something to store visibly some of this addiction i have. i just dont feel right leaving all these in white cardboard boxes. we collect to show off in a round about way so why do we store them where no one can see them?

LMMFAO, your eat up bro. I can understand why most people don't like plates, to me it's just kinda cool knowing that I have what the card was made with and without the plates we would have no cards. I know a lot of people who don't consider plates real 1/1s or even cards.

well with me lump. when i was a kid it was the "proof" card we wanted... the first one..the trial card,whatever....that was the card i always wanted,looked for and still do for some odd reason..that was the true 1/1 and the plates had no color so i never got into them...
