Back when I was more of a trading newb, I was using Scotch tape until Kerry enlightened me. Now I take a post it note and cover the top of the top loader and use painters tape on each end of the post it so there is  no chance tape comes into contact with the card.

Thanks for the limelight but many others came before me with that same request.

One time I got a package of cards in sleeves, in toploaders, in a team bag, wrapped around several times by packing tape. It took me over 3 minutes to carefully remove the tape without damaging the cards. I wonder if that person read my original post about not using sticky tape.

Hopefully this is just something to ponder...poor etiquette in hobby packing is just the tip of the iceberg in how America has become so selfish and concerned with number 1. Customer service will soon be a thing of the past as restaurants and personal service venues are either closed or restricted beyond decency, which makes the employees stressed and eventually rude. Some of the governing bodies promise free money and care, and many are lined up to get that undeserved benefit. So, stuff like this crappy card packing does not surprise me much as it used to.
