Huge thing you left out of all this...the seller misspelled Kobe in the title of the listing, as he spelled it "Koby". Not that that it isn't his fault, but definitely the reason why it didn't sell for more.
Also, the seller offered Free Shipping so considering he sold the item for $1.29 he would've ended up paying more in fees and shipping than he would've gotten from Paypal. Again, this is not your fault but definitely another contributing factor into cancelling the sale (after all, aside from good morals, why fulfill a sale that you end up paying someone to take from you).
This situation definitely sucks for you, but at this point you have 3 choices: 1) Leave negative feedback and move on. 2) Contact the seller to make a higher offer on the card, assuming you REALLY want it. 3) Anything else (contacting eBay, trying to intimidate the seller, etc.) is just going to draw this out and you still won't get the card.
Personally I would stick with option #1.

Yes he did misspell Kobe but like you said that's on him and I dont think I was the only who bid on it. I'm sure the other ppl that placed a bid knew the BV of the card is more than $1.
Also I did message him to tell him that I'd pay for the shipping and also that I felt bad so I would send him some Kobe's he could sell to recover some of his loss.
I will make one more attempt to see if he wants to make a deal becuase I would really like to add this card to my Kobe PC.
