I never left started collecting when I was 14 back in 89.
Since those years I have seen some great years in cards and some bust years. I almost quit in 1997 the year I got married but my wife said I love the collecting so much that I need to keep it up. So I did 15 years later she says my collection has gotten so big that I need to chose one sport instead of 2.
We came to a compromise. I keep one rookie card of the HOFers and one auto and one gu of the same in football. She also said I better not stop collecting Cowboys as well.
So My football has downsized (still trading off a bunch of them) But now I can afford the higher end of baseball which suites me just fine.
Shh every once in a while I will buy a box of football just to see what I can pull and trade off what I dont want. Just dont tell her or I will be in trouble
