this is what I hate about collecting. Seen two more cards being sold to friends, because the seller thought they were being sold for too cheap. I questioned the seller & he said the winning bidder is a regular customer of his. I reversed my 2nd bid after realizing that the bidder going up against me was a friend of the seller.. both of them post on another board. that's how I found out, along at looking at feedback & Identifying the bidder's ID.
I wish I collected more in the late 90's.. I would of loved to pick up some MJ's back then. Most of my MJ's are from 90-95.. a few from 96. + a few kobe low end kobes... I still want to pick up a Kobe Finest RC + Garnett.

Sells like this make me wonder how much some of my stuff would go for. When I saw that Kobe exquisite 1/1 go for over $21,000, I was thinking that my finest xfractor 1/1 should move for at least $5,000-10,000 LOL. Imagine that, you can pay off bills and everything, lol.
I collect LeBron, Jordan, Kobe and anything that catches my eye.

anybody see the MJ Flight School auto? Send your kid to Flight School... get a card signed & turn around and sale it for $25,000... what a deal...
Michael Jordan 1992-93 Topps Stadium Club Beam Team Signed BGS 9 UDA Auto
Flight School signed & BGS graded...
didn't think BGS would grade these type of signatures, since they were not released by UD as a "buyback" auto...

LOL. I'm kinda glad that I didn't pull it. If I did then I would've had a worst addiction to collecting than what I have right now, lol. I got it for a good price awhile back. It's one of my stable PC cards. I actually have the rainbow. If I was to move it, the whole set would have to go because I would look to get it back someday. If someone was willing to give me $20k for it it would've left yesterday, lol.

I think more and more collectors are going for the 90's stuff these days. Maybe the GU'ed stuff is a bit too risky because of the enormous amount of counterfeits out there. Just my thought.
