2013 Baseball Free Card Thread

RE: 2013 Baseball Free Card Thread
A HUGE thank you to Phillies-Joe. I received two bubble mailers filled with cards that I was looking for to complete the base 2012 A&G set. I also received numerous inserts from 2012 that I had none of, as well as some from this years set(also didn't have any of!) All in all I received over 100 base cards, and 20-30 inserts, all of which were needed for the sets! Thank you, I really appreciate it!

Mini's started last year (got some Tigers if interested) and because of popularity, I guess Topps is going to do it every year. Only can order them online and I don't think the print run is that great. I estimate 16,500 boxes based on 1 1/25 Pink per box. I myself like em. Enjoy!

I'm estimating 11,000 boxes.
660 cards X 25 Pinks X 1:16 packs / 24 packs per box = 11,000 boxes ... my Math might be off.

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

I'm an accountant/finance person and excuse myself due to rounding/lazyness/eating lunch at the time (one pink per box :660 x 25 = 16,500) LOL....your math is absolutly correct DrM.

HAHA...just saw the updated sig....

I think they said it was 1 pink for every 16 packs, so some boxes have 2 pinks (like my first 2 boxes) some have 1. That was my reasoning for 11k vs. 16.5K ... But I'm far from a financial accounting wizard, so figuring its Topps, they're probably releasing 100,000 boxes and short a whole lotta people their pink cards Smile
Glad you like the sig addition. Smile

RE: 2013 Baseball Free Card Thread
Just so you guys know, I still havent received any packages from my courier so thats why I havent posted anything around here and I know some of you sent stuff my way! Ill post as soon as I receive them......
Ohhhh and just so you all know, I decided to go after all the topps sets from the 90s, pre 86 seem a little harder for me and I already have 88 so now im starting off with 1990 and 1993 since they are the ones I have the most cards of. So if anyone has any 90s junk laying around now you have someone who actually will take some lol and will be well appreciated here.

97 will probably be the toughest for me because I didnt collect cards that year so I have very few from that set......
Hopefully I can finish off the 90s and then decide if i want to go after the 2000s or the 80s and later the 2010s or 60s and so on.....
