I think the Rally Squirrel should be nicknamed Hype.

...and I think if you look at completed auctions for this card one seller has 5 or 6 of them he has already sold.

also remember not everyone puts cards on ebay, could be many others on other auction sites as well as people who pulled it who dont feel like selling it at the time (I think a kid would really like this card)

RE: 2012 Topps Squirrel!
Those referencing the Jeter/Bush/Mantle aren't remembering correctly. it wasn't an SP and they were in virtually every box. It was the regular card, not a variation. The rally squirrel card is an actual variation ssp and with the amount of people ripping topps right now 13 is nothing. It's probably comparable in print run to the Strasburg 661E which still carries a book value of 150 and only fell about 1:5 cases or worse. The true variation cards still sell for a lot, most of the high end pie cards from last year still book 150-200. Although 600 or even 300 is obviously an insane price these are probably about 50-100 times rarer than the Jeter card was...For those keeping track we broke 4 jumbo boxes today and didn't pull a single variation or sp and there are a lot more of those than just the rally squirrel card, probably about 20 altogether. So that would be 2000 cards and no sps.

There are 30 or so on ebay right now, and 30+ ended auctions on top of that. Not that rare of a card, lol

I have one I pulled at LCS tonight -- be thrilled to move it early for a good cash or trade offer --

No need to keep a card of an animal Smile

Is it bad that I already have a thread title for my box break if I pull one?
