Or they bring in local models to hire to open boxes while wearing bikinis to bring in the page views.  I'd say their girlfriends, but I'm pretty sure that guys like that don't have girlfriends.

I'd think that the rise of legal sportsbooks and casinos will get rid of a lot of this - people can get the same gambling thrill at the legal online sportsbooks with much better odds - although then they won't get those Banger practice squad player autographs

And the Gem Fire Bangers Bros continues with the checklist for Score showing

are you sitting down for this?

3,194 numbered parallels of each base card (300 in the set, and it is possible that the entire 400 card set will be but Panini didn't release numbering for all of the Rookies Parallels)

There are also numbered parallels of several of the inserts

and multiple unnumbered parallels including Scorecards.

Just with the 300 base cards, there are 958,200 numbered parallels in Score.

Not counting rookies, not counting numbered insert parallels, not counting printing plates, not counting unnumbered parallels

Check out this list:

Yikes, I love Score - it might well be my favorite Panini set, but yikes! If you could still get hobby boxes for $90 (and they had 10 numbered parallels per box with no parallel numbered over 100 and still had 4 autographs) this would be okay

They absolutely do not have girlfriends.

Just saw this today.  I have put the set together every year since 2006 (except 2008: Factory and 2011).  Even manage to put the insert sets together.  Have only bought retail and always seems to be good value.  Hopefully will be able to find it.  Have a feeling I will since the sharks don't seem to gravitate toward the low end products.  Last year I remember buying this at the end of May.  Pretty late this year, but the article mentioned that the rookies should be in pro unis (photo shopped?).
I collect Andre Johnson, JJ Watt, Redskins who played in the 70’s & 80’s, HOF’ers and Texas A&M Aggies.

I still love me some Score, low end or not, they seem to always have a nice clean look. I did splurge on a box ($150 after my discount) and really hope to hit Wilson/Olave. I will post in the box breaks, once I get it and most will be up for trade, so let me know if you are building a set, I'll help you out.

I've historically had fantastic luck out of Score - best illustrated by a 2017 Hobby box which featured a Patrick Mahomes and a T.J. Watt autograph - both numbered to under 100.  But just about every box of Score I get has at least good autograph and the one that didn't had a Jalen Hurts printing plate for my Eagles collection.

And it is in my opinion consistently one of their best looking products - and it is the closest that Panini has to base Topps - their default mainstream product (some might say that Donruss plays that role, but I think that Score really is their closest comparison - Donruss doesn't have the depth that Score does and doesn't have near the history as a football product - in fact, I consider Donruss to be a baseball product that has crossed over into football) - and it's also the most historic Panini football product having now been produced continuously since 1989.

In fact, Score is going to be about the only Panini product I actually miss once Panini loses their license to make football cards.

While my first pack of cards was 2011 Adrenalyn XL, it was really Score that got me into collecting. I still have tons of Score cards from 2014-this year (the cards, not the inserts) and still need to complete 2015. It's really a shame the way Score has gone down, especially with the reality that it is A) over-saturated and B) a completely cheap product. While Score is definitely a fun product, I don't like the direction it has tanked in the last few years.
Please reach out with any/all inquiries regarding sending me Riley Leonard cards.
WANTS:
RILEY LEONARD/Jake Bobo
Tre Jones
Cam Newton/Christian McCaffrey
2015/2017 Panthers

That would be cool to see the pro unis, photoshopped or not (although the Rookie Premiere was what, 4-5 months ago?)

Otherwise the RCs would be redundant given that they don't normally have team logos, names or draft info ... and Prestige has already come out with RCs with helmets and team names.

I think my favorite football set might be 2019 Prestige ... they had actual photos of rookies in NFL uniforms and released in early July, meaning in hand before training camp!

Obviously that was before COVID and the rise of the DBN, back when Panini still gave a crap.

2019 Prestige Megaboxes were also absolutely fantastic buys at $40 - but they were also historical in that they became the first product I heard about Retail Sharks R Us operating and buying up at retail prices and selling for a big profit.

I really appreciated Panini's hustle that year to get the rookies in a retail product before camp even started ... I'm not sure what's happened to them since.
