15,000 Count Box
#11

RE: 15,000 Count Box
Now that you mention it, it does seems as though my "old" ones were half lids and they fit the toploaders much better. The full lids do not fit them at all.

I've got some of both stacked in a closet and the half lids are noticeably larger. But I've never put toploaders in either just sleeved cards.

Sorry for the miscommunication.

SO Jack Pfiester - there is a monster shoe box that fits toploaders, do you know what count the box is? I assume it would fit un-toploaded cards with some toploaded cards.

Maybe a different question with suggestions:  I used to store my more valuable cards either 1) in a binder or 2) in top loaders separate from my "base" or "lesser valued" cards which were in varying size boxes.

In order to free up space I bought a 5 5,000 boxes and then I took the toploaded cards and the binder cards and tried to put them all in boxes together comnbining all sports and all years- so its easier to find and takes up less space.

I ran into a problem, the top loaders don't fit in the 5,000 count boxes, so my plan isn't working.  I'm trying to store the cards in numerical order with the valuable cards in toploaders all in boxes so when I trade I don't have to hunt through binders and misceallenous boxes.  Any ideas or what do you do?

(By the way I'll have a ton of binders and 9 pocket sheets to sell soon)

Then a monster shoe box is exactly what you're looking for!

Its threads like these that keep me paying for my subscription to Beckett. The responses in this thread are priceless. How else unless by mere happenstance would anyone figure out that half-lids vrs full lids would make a difference?

Thanks so much, I just ordered 5 5,000 count boxes!
