For 2019 Absolute, the base veterans are shiny in hobby. What is wierd is that the RC's in retail are shiny (with the vets being normal). I just watched a a couple of 3 box/pack videos of 2019 hobby Absolute and no regular base RC's were pulled. So maybe the base RC's are only in retail.
