Hey Old Timers --- do you miss old running backs?

RE: Hey Old Timers --- do you miss old running backs?
Bo Jackson!!!! I feel like running backs have been watered down a lot over the last decade or so. There really isn't one back that I can say, "I can't wait to watch him play!" Which was the case for me in the 80s and some of the 90s. But I also do believe that the longevity of the position has increased greatly. The workhorse backs don't tend to play very long. Emmitt was an exception and Barry didn't take too many hits because you couldn't catch him. AP is a fun runner to watch, but doesn't really have the same class as a lot of those older backs.

And for the record, I don't consider myself an "OLD TIMER!"
I collect Peyton Manning and Griffey Jr.
