That could very well be the case. I'm glad he decided to stay in Seattle. I don't pretend to understand the Saber metrics but I don't have a need or wanting to either. Over the years watching him he simply dominates the opposing team (most of the time) but gets no love from the general fan who's clouded over by kershaw, or grienke, or whoever came out of the blue to win 20 games this year.
Heck I had a guy tell me 18-9 wasn't good enough even for felix. While the opposite of my point, it shows the general skewed observation skills in the general baseball viewing public.

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
