Flawless Anthony Davis "Team Panini" Rookie Card
I primarily collect baseball but have been getting back into basketball and have opened a few cases of Panini Flawless. I pulled an Anthony Davis Autograph /10 but it does not have the Rookie Card insignia (although it is his rookie year)
Any idea why the "Team Panini" auto cards don't have the rookie card mark? Is it considered a rookie card even without that stamp?
Also, I tired to attach a pic but the site is telling me its too large (i'll refrain from the Michael Scott "that's what she said" joke) Is there something I can do convert the pic I took for ebay so that it will be small enough to attach here?

The Team Panini is classified as an insert, so it's a not a rookie. Only his card from the base set will be classed a rookie and thus would have the "Rookie" designation.
Collect Patrick Ewing, Jalen Rose, Kevin Garnett, LaMarcus Aldridge, Jeff Green
if you have less than 25 trades, I will ask you to send first.

Actually there are three sets in Flawless that have the RC designation:
Flawless Rookie Patches
Flawless Base
Flawless Rookie Auto

Yeah, but now Topps and Panini are putting "RC" logos on almost all of their inserts and what not — Prestige football was a good example of this in 2013.
I'd agree with Taffster ... unless the auto is the "only" RC, then you have to go with the base as the true RC.

Wasn't Flawless considered a 12-13 product?

It's the same deal with the Immaculate patch signatures /100
I have the Kyrie and it even states "RC" on the card, but beckett does not find it a rookie card /shrug.
