True true. That's definitely a fun part of the project, seeing the different crops of rookie talent... There are some years where they are all duds, and other years that are loaded with some very solid players and a couple hall of famers... Granted, I don't know much about too many non-hall of famers on the checklist before my time, but if I had to choose the best rosters it would be...
'82- ripken, sandberg, hrbek, McGee, brunansky, chili davis and sax, (they didn't make the trophy for that year)
Or
'01- pujols, soriano, ichiro, j Rollins, Dunn, Oswalt, sabathia
The most HOF'ers on any years checklist is 2... '01 should topp that with the two sure-fire selections and a good number of borderlines
