I was just happy to have enough eBay Bucks to buy it, plus I had some Bucks leftover and bought a few other cards for my PC.

I wasn't planning on bidding on anything from the Beckett Auction this time around, since I am buying a house and trying not to spend too much right now. However some of their giveaway contests sucked me in and I saw a few on-card autos that I thought would be great additions to my collection, if I could get them at the right price. Well, sure enough I got them at some great prices.



The Stockton is for my Stockton/Malone PC, while the Erving and Ewing will go to my NBA@50 autograph collection. I was honestly shocked that I was able to snag the Ewing for just over $100, especially since it is graded BGS9.5.

Yea, I couldn't believe it went so cheaply. I was expecting it to sell for around 2-3 times what it did. So long as Ewing doesn't start signing a ton it will definitely be a steal at the price I paid.

They are only once a month or so. I try to check each one out when they list the items and see if there is anything I want, then usually on the last day I check for any deals that might be left (i.e. cards without any bids) and I put in a couple bids and keep my fingers crossed. Keep in mind the auctions have a 15% buyers premium and they ship with insurance so the shipping costs are usually a little more than you might be used to. In total the 3 cards cost around $8 for shipping.
Sometimes Beckett does giveaways to promote their auctions, this time it was that you had to share some links on social media and place at least 1 bid. There were some pretty awesome giveaways including a 1/1 Karl Malone laundry tag card, that I was really hoping to get but didn't.

I was buying some other cards and managed to nab a Granger and a Hibbert auto for under $3 total. I also finally got a Kevin McHale auto for my NBA@50 collection...and it's numbered out of 10, plus it's on card. I am still shocked that I got the card for only $15, as I expected someone to bid it up at the last minute.
