silly topps
ok this has to be a great manufacturing error when sorting through my 2013 Series 1 cards today Ive notice that I got a card numbered base 331 so i now the base sets have 330 cards in them but I went online a sure enough i was right I got a series TWO card 331 Jose Reyes but just to clarify is this a SP or a packaging error? Has anyone else gotten something similar

What you have is part of series 1. No #7 (retired yet again). So you should have 330. I guess #331 in series 2 will have a different picture? I got both the base and emerald.

Yep what he said there officially is no #7 so even with card #331 released in series one it's still a 330 card series and no it's not a SP it simply replaces the card that didn't get made.
Looking at Sportscardradio.com there is no Jose Reyes listed for Ser. 2 in either a Bluejays or Marlins uniform. So if a #331 gets made for Ser. 2 it would be another player entirely. |
