If I recall, last year they went live in April/May and I finally received the cards I had redeemed in late January in mid July.

Ah yes FRUSTRATION! - A formula for complete customer satisfaction, that was a NOT joke.

How bout we call it, "Seagull Customer Service", why?
Because they'll fight for your last bloody french fry (cash) in the parking lot, scream at you and make a bunch of noise when you ask them what's going on, then shat all over you and fly away with your last bloody french fry.

RE: No new NHL Rookie Cards this year
You will not see Artifacts redemptions Until next years cards start coming out in late July early August. As stated in the Press release they cannot make cards of rookies from this year until then.

UD said back when Artifacts came out that if they where unable to honor the cards this year they would be honored next year.

Not UD fault that the lockout took place, but that is also the reason they did not make rookie redemptions for Black Diamond or SP Gu as they did not know what was going on.

What "incentives" will Upper Deck & Panini now offer in their products, especially ones that relied heavily on the rookie class each season? (Adding more autographs of other players for example). It wouldn't make sense to just churn out the same old regular stuff in those products.

Well when I spoke to UD on Thursday I was told by the rep that they're still trying to decide what to do with the Artifact redemptions. He also said that an announcement will be made in a couple of weeks. This was also the response left to a facebook post on the UD facebook page.
