I have had several IP auto's of Griffey and the one that is not authenticated did make me pause and consider. I have had several pieces of his where he has added some twist to his signature with the "G" or the "Y". The parts I don't like about it relate to the "K" and the "J". The signature in general has not hitches or stopping points and was signed quickly. I received that one from a dealer on the cheap and he had picked it up from a collection he picked up. I live in AZ and many of the auto's I see out here have been from spring ball signings. (several that I have gotten have disappointed me as they were rush jobs by the players)

That being said this one is certainly suspect and I paid a small amount for it due to that.

I have often wondered if this seller more or less is just showing off his collection. Some of his prices are unreal and he rarely sales anything. He has bid me up on some of the rarer cards, I lost out to him on the 99 Finest Gold Team Griffey /25 for about $250 and he list it now for like $2,500.

Does anybody know this guy and can tell me something about him?

I started a thread on blowout about him too. I asked his best price on the 10k a view to a thrill and he told me 6k. He just wants to show off his collection.

hey guys, i'm not a huge griffey collector but i do have some of his cards in my pc. with that said i have a 'card' that i have never seen anywhere. i'm sure you have, thats why i'm posting. i have this giant poster card, what is it? i bought it years ago for $5, but have never seen another. i'm not looking to trade it, just some info if you have any. i put it next to a beckett mag so you can see the size of it.
