As the lockout prolongs, UD and Panini will be using a rookie checklist consisting of guys who made their debuts late last season. We know who they are based on the rookie cards in OPC and Score already. So my question is as Certified and UD1 come out next month, presumably with no new rookie debuts to make cards for, of the current guys available to the card companies, which one excites you? If the lockout derails the whole season, it's possible less product will be made and less rookie cards could exist like 04/05. I have my eyes on Sven Baertschi who killed in the WHL last 2 years and had 3 goals in a 5 games in a brief appearance for Calgary. Most like Chris Kreider for his playoff performance, and there is also Jaden Schwartz for the Blues who is also a former first rounder. Like to hear from others who they may dabble in with the current situation. Thanks for any replies.

I'll be going after Schwarz as you mentioned but I'm more excited that there's another Blues goalie, Jake Allen. I'm itching for some new rookies to chase since Cade Fairchild wasn't included in Prime, the Cup or Dominion.
