Wow, kind of discouraging that even a collection like that has an incomplete set of 34-36 diamond stars. Im trying to build that my self, it is probably all the high numbers that are missing. Unbelievable collection though. I probably wont own 1% if that collection in my lifetime.

Here's a question for you guys....if money were no object and you had plenty, do you think you'd enjoy the hobby as much? I mean, it wouldn't be a challenge to get certain cards and therefore you may not have as much excitement when you do get a great card. Discuss amongst yourselves...

This guy's collection is unbelievable! There are several guys that have some monster collections over on the PSA Set Registry even bigger than this one. This guy was more about the completion than the grade, which is something I definitely respect.

Not sure if anybody is familiar with who's collection this is, but here's an article about him that came out about 6 years ago from PSA.

Gotta admit if I had unlimited resources I probably wouldn't enjoy the hobby quite as much. Waking up one morning and deciding I want to put together the 33 Goudey set and getting it done a week later just isn't "collecting". That's buying. To me it's more about being proud of putting together the best collection I possibly can with the limited resources that I have, and all the time and research involved with getting the best bang for my buck.
Always looking to complete sets.

Collecting Allen & Ginter, Topps Heritage, Bowman Chrome, Topps Chrome, Gypsy Queen, etc.
