This guy wants to trade me a 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle DP for my 2010 Topps Allen and Ginter Mini Monsters of the Mesozoic Relics #MMR12 Pterodactyl. My first thing I need to make sure the PSA number is real. The 2nd thing is I need to drive there if it is. Give me your guys thoughts on this. Here are scans of both cards his is small which makes me wonder as well.

Very nice offer. If it were me I would do the trade without hesitation. However, I would take along someone with more Vintage knowledge than I have as well as someone versed in PSA holders to ensure against tampering as _ZENAS_ points out. Consider meeting in a reputable card shop. I would go one step further and offer to pay him his expenses to travel to you...cheap insurance in my opinion.

Good luck and I hope it works out to your expectations.

I agree with meeting at a reputable third parties location to lookover the mantle (perhaps a legit card shop in between your two locations?)

I think its a steal of a deal for you, but I can understand why someone would want the fossil also. those sorta things have big collector value also and combining it with a limited issue card appeals to two worlds of collecting

No way that fingernail is worth $20,000!! Thing is, you go all the way to Canada and he never shows up...That would suck.

Please check to see if he has any other outstanding deals on vintage cards. I'd be willing to offer these up.
