I've been doing my best to make the trades worthwhile from a BV perspective. Tossing in lots of extras, but not everyone can do that. Eventually someone is going to figure out that private enterprise can be a reasonable alternative to level the playing field. My fear is that the government in Canada will look at this and say "If the USPS can get away with this, we need to raise our rates too". I'm hoping someone that has access to both sides of the border might offer a solution in the near term, but for now I just can't do the $15 card trade to our friends in the Northlands anymore!
