I recently conducted a search for "BGS grading tips" and I found the following guide. It appears that the writer does in fact have a VERY thorough process that can be adopted. In my opinion, some of the steps are overkill. Although, if you REALLY want to ensure that your cards grade highly, you may want to follow his routine. If there is anything included in this tutorial that is an infraction to Beckett's forum rules, I apologize ahead of time. I don't know the writer in any way and I'm not attempting to help him find customers that would like him to "pregrade" their cards. I just found the guide to be incredibly detailed and at least worth the read if you plan on submitting cards:
