I have a couple of collections that show the total correct number of items.  But, when displayed shows only a few items?
See attachment.  The collection has 709 items.  But only has 35 items to view.

This has happened before over the years.
Sure could use a little help

It looks like a bug to me. I tried, and could not duplicate it.  I don't have collections with all quantity fields zeroed out, so I created one.  They all showed up in my collection view.  Even changing the layout to Selling, as you did, did not "hide" any items.  I sent a few to trash.  Still no unexpected missing items.  

You said this has happened before. How did it resolve previously?  New browser session?  After a PC restart?  Clear cache?  Days later?

I created a new collection and then added the items back to it.
