The 2002 topps card has an error photo on the back of the card. The photo is of Placido Polanco. Can someone post pictures of both the error card and corrected version.

According to this site the error photo is the player wearing a baseball cap.

I don’t think a regular pack issued corrected version exists but that’s my opinion. Some collectors say a corrected version exists but only in late printing editions of the blue holiday factory set, aka HTA (Home Team Advantage). Others say no corrected version exists at all in any factory set.

BaseballCardPedia.com states “ This error was NOT corrected for the HTA and Limited Edition factory sets…”. I can confirm the HTA version was corrected. 



I didn’t believe a corrected version existed at all until I saw a few on eBay in recent years. Here are pictures to show that Topps did correct the photo on some HTA versions. Throughout the years I have bought a few sealed blue holiday factory sets, they all contained the error with Polanco photo on the back. After 10 years of searching I was able to find and purchase a corrected HTA version.
