I was lucky enough to go to the 1996 ALCS game one between Yankees and Orioles where Jeffrey Maier caught the Jeter "home run" and followed that game with the 1996 World Series game 6 and saw the Yankees won it all. I was at college at the time and those were my Yankees first games.

The only other thing that comes even close to this was the my junior year at Mizzou....
Mizzou nearly upset Nebraska - had it not been for the 'Flea Kicker'... Had Mizzou been able to hold on for the win, it would have been the absolute most amazing live sporting event I could have ever witnessed.
