After watching the most recent gruesome hit to the face of Kevin Pillar, it got me wondering. Is there a rule against pitchers approaching a batter after they hit them, to check on them or apologize or something? I never see that. They always just stand on the mound, and usually don't even show any remorse, although Jacob Webb did show some concern in this case. Just curious.
