2020 illusions hobby vs retail
Good morning everyone
Hope all are well and healthy and want to wish a Happy Holidays to all!
Question regarding 2020 Illusions Football.  I see Beckett lists a retail set.  The RC's have the same BV, but base have a lower BV.  I was curious if there is a difference in Hobby vs Retail in the base themselves?  Difference in card stock?  Haven't been able to see anything through looking at different sites, pictures, ebay etc.
Thanks and take care!

Not sure about card stock. But on the retail version, the players name on the front is in black (can barely read it without getting it in the light at the right angle). The hobby version has the name in gold (readable).

I also noticed that for some reason Beckett doesn't even consider the rookies in the retail versions as "RC", which I disagree with. They have done the same in the past, i.e. 2019 Absolute (retail still has no BV).
I collect Andre Johnson, JJ Watt, Redskins who played in the 70’s & 80’s, HOF’ers and Texas A&M Aggies.
