Shot in the dark here. I know Topps Chrome last season for basketball cards was the 2009-2010 set, and Prizm from Panini wasn't started until the 2012-13 set.

Are there any sets from those 'lost years' that have a subset that has the same look of a refractor/prizm? I'm putting together a little PC of a refractor/silver prizm from the two products for every year in Dirk's career, but ironically his title season and the one after seem to be a graveyard from what I can find. Any good ideas for a bridge for those years?

2010-11 Rookie & Stars Longevity had sort of a foil finish, that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

As for 2011-12, that was a really lame year for cards, but Limited usually has shiny-ish stuff:

Those couple of years were kind of odd because of the lockout and what not ... fewer products made by fewer companies.
