Need another team to collect
|
I'm a Red Sox fan...but I need another team to collect. Box breaks are getting too spendy and I need a half decent team to collect for trade fodder. Thoughts? (Anyone that wants to say Yankees, I have a screwdriver and I'm not afraid to use it as a shank)

Pick a NL team that does not normally play against your BoSox.
Perhaps Reds or Cardinals or Cubs that have a great history so you can chase current or vintage players. Plus, being in the NE you should get great deals on Midwest teams. 
Forget the Box Breaks. Put that money into Hobby Boxes and trade the rest of those box's contents for equivalent Red Sox cards here on Beckett.
What other players do you like/collect, collect the team there on.

Go for the Indians. Will not break your bank account and have a few hits in every product.
Also, Phillies is a good choice but prices are starting to increase. |
