Hi all,

I come to you today seeking help! I put together the complete set of the 2003 Fleer Showcase Sweet Stitches Patch cards. All of these cards are numbered.

However, the Derek Jeter Patch I have, does not have any serial number on its back. Its supposed to be numbered to /50. I found one other one and it does have the serial number on its back.

Does anyone have any ideas, is it an error? I emailed Fleer multiple times, but never got any info in return.

Could this be part of a Fleer bankruptcy sale? I know that there are many cards that were sold off after Fleer shutdown that were kept as replacement cards that didn't have serial numbers.

Interesting, Perhaps that is what this card is.

Unfortunately, it makes me feel like my set might not truly be complete after all..

That's what I was thinking too, to be used as a replacement. Also, It could be a mistake and didn't get run through the numbering process. If it were me, I'd email, call or write the person you bought it from. Did you know when you sent the money that the card was not numbered. If so, I'd be hollering at the person that sold it to you.

I got a couple of QUAD bats for my Giants that are not serial #ed and they are from the bankrupt sale I think..Still nice cards..they were used as replacements as stated above
