2012 Topps US183
Okay, when did that Bryce Harper RC start going through the roof? I was shocked (and happy) when I looked it up today.

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

It does not say SP so why is this Orange jersey card so much more than card 299 which is a SP?

I think one is considered the actual rookie card and the other is the rookie debut subset. I think.

The #299 is a All Star card--- and not a SP. Their are 2 SP variations for card 299 though.

the 183 is his rookie debut card.

Card 661 from series 2 would be is basic RC.

Well, unlike the 2011 Trout (which is an actual RC), I do have all kinds of variations of this one!

Blue, red, gold/2012, etc.

I also have the "suit" variation of the No. 299 card.

Time to invest in some magnet holders, I guess.

I was looking on ebay for a Finest rookie and saw how much his RCs were going for so I checked what I had. I remembered I bought a lot last year when he was slumping for like $55 or so that had 2 in it along with a bunch of pre-rookie and RC cards and inserts. I could never get all those cards for that price let alone 1 card now.

First Trout RCs and then Harper skyrocketed. Who's next? Kershaw?

Oh look what happened to pricing on Kershaw's RC.

Alright then. Who's next?
I collect Hall of Fame baseball player cards and cards of current and retired superstars.
