I love doing the same thing. However Lawrie was a big name prospect, so I doubt I wouldn't have put his card aside. I remember pulling his 2011 Bowman Chrome Orange Refractor Autograph and selling it for around $2k. I still can't believe how much some people pay for prospect cards.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.

nice, i keep thinking i need to do this again. I try and do it every few years, last time i found a really nice tanaka WBC that was skyrocketing when he got signed.

unfortunately a few times ive found a nice surprise only to see it had a dinged corner.

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.
