I have always struggled with telling the difference in this set. Is it numbered? BGS has one listed as graded at a 7.5 so it seems I'm not the only one. Was there an un-numbered promo? Some images below.

What I was told by the seller of all the unnumbered variations was this.
We bought a set from someone at a show a while ago who got it from a former UD executive. Haven't seen the other version but the Gold is definitely the 1/1 version. If you look he is the only one selling them and if he bought from an executive my guess this was the 1/1 Proof. Not sure how many he has sold but if your looking for a certain player I would ask him. The one released in packs looks like this and has 1/1 stamped on the front. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-Ultimate-Vi...20f2ae372e (01-12-2015, 11:24 AM)jamesray3 Wrote: I have always struggled with telling the difference in this set. I had been hesitant to make an offer on the Ripken that is on eBay as I was not sure where these came from. (The Ripken seller has several so I would guess it is the same seller you bought the Jeter from)
I have not seen more than 1 of these variations that do not have the serial number for sure though. I was hoping there was some more evidence as to where these came from as both PSA and BGS have graded them. I know Brian for a while we have made quite a few deals in the past.
