What are the coolest cards $3 and under?

I saw this on another board and thought it was a fun topic.
Collecting 2010 Bowman, 80s oddball rookies, and '89 Griffeys.

Depends on if you're asking about $3 book value or cards that you could typically pick up for $3 or less.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.

I still enjoy game used cards and basic refractors. Most of them can be had for $3 or less.

If you speak about cool cards as a general matter and not for your specific taste, I would say vintage Topps commons.
French RedSox Fan & Baseball cards collectors.
Sketch card fan.
Last Packs opened:
2 boxes of mars attacks: the revenge => 1 artist auto, 1 medallion & 2 silvers.

I like the early 90s upper deck SP cards. I really liked the 1992 Deion Sanders.

It can be any card you think is cool that can be had for a few bucks or less. Here are some I like.

86 Sportflix Rookies Barry Larkin
90 Classic Draft Picks Chipper Jones
92 Front Row Jeter
88 CMC John Smoltz
89 Score Young Superstars Tom Glavine

That '92 Sp Sanders is a really cool looking card - how it goes from football to baseball. That reminds me. Another cheap card I like is the 86 Topps Traded Bo Jackson.
