I have been buying more Gyorko cards over the past month as he has been injured and the prices have dropped significantly. Well there have been a few 1/1s that I have been watching on eBay for a while and yesterday I decided to put in some best offers on the cards. I figured maybe 1 of them would bite since I had made offers already several months ago on the same cards and got rejected. Amazingly I got all 3. I can't wait to get them in hand and add them to my other Gyorko cards. Hopefully I can get a few more of his rarer cards before he returns from injury.

Thanks, but I am only collecting his rookie and pre-rookie cards (i.e. 2013 or older). I figured it would be easier to focus on and feel like there is an end in sight. I still have my other player collections to fill plenty of gaps and new cards are still being made for Ivan Rodriguez and Gary Carter, so it's not like I won't continually need to get more cards.

I am going to start keeping a thread with all my Gyorko pick-ups. I figured I would update this thread with my latest BIG pick-ups and then either continue on this thread or start a new one when I get time to take pictures of my Gyorko collection. For now I won't bother posting the lower-end cards and stick strictly to the cards numbered 25 or less.

My favorite, that I have been wanting since I first saw the card. I missed out on the first one on eBay because the seller rejected my offer without countering and then a month later accepted a lower offer without contacting me to see if I was still interested. I got this one for the same price as my original offer, so I was happy with that.
