Card suggestions, Nolan Ryan
Hey all, I'm looking to acquire a nice Nolan Ryan card in Angels uniform. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to go for? WTTF one if anybody has one. Thank you.
Top Wants:

1. 2001 Bowman's Best- Albert Pujols
2. 2011 Bowman Sterling- Mike Trout
3. 2011 Bowman Chrome- Paul Goldschmidt

i bought a 1983 donruss baseball set on ebay, sealed and etc so hopefully i can get nolan ryan graded and get a 10 gem mint on it i'm praying!!! Cause if it is it will be one awesome card Big Grin

I got a 1985 nolan ryan in Mint condition, you want a pic? and we could maybe end up trading or something?

The 85 Ryan is an Astos card if i remember right, the OP wanted one from the Angles lol

You'll be lucky to get a BGS 8 IF you're Grading with Beckett. IF you were talking about Grading it with Beckett, a 10 would be Pristine, not Gem Mint. With Beckett, a 9.5 is Gem Mint.

I know it's confusing, but you'll get it eventually.

Well, being that 186 out of the 205 (90%) '83 Donruss Nolan Ryans have graded 8 or higher with BGS, he has a pretty good shot. (44 8s, 54 8.5s, 41 9s, and 27 9.5s)

So there's that......

Myself...I count a 9.5 Beckett as a 10 (I round up....LOL).

Great point rle75. One just needs to be really careful with "what" they submit.
