Which Would Be the Better Break?
I know neither may turn out that good but, of the two, which would be the best bet?:
(2) 2008 Bowman Chrome 18-pack hobby boxes at $37 each (1 auto per)
Or
(2) 2008 Bowman Chrome 24-pack retail boxes at $31 each
Opinions?

Your auto could be a dud. Collation probably better in the hobby box though, so I vote Hobby.

What about refractors? Would there be more in retail considering more packs and less of a chance of an auto?

Always hobby.
I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.
