1998 Crusade Purple Jeter is off the list.

1998 Crusade Purple Jeter is off the list.
I had about $500.00 in paypal from card sales and this PSA 9 copy was listed on ebay as an auction and I remember the last ungraded copy sold for around $650.00 so I made my snipe bid for $650.00 in hopes I would get it for that price or lower. Well I did really good as I bought it for $360.55. Now its off looking for the next big item purchase of him and I have a few in mind but we will see soon which will be next. My Jeter list will be updated soon and I will be trading again for mostly lower end cards I need from his 1997 to 1999 collection. Enjoy

Unless there's a refractor line that's not visible in that scan, I think that was a -really- good deal.

That is a beautiful card but I am just curious, what makes that card sell for so much more then a current Jeter card numbered out of 100? I can't believe the price difference between the two.

Thanks

Some cards are more popular than others if you ever pick up a 1998 Donruss Crusade card you will see they are awesome looking cards. I doubt I will get the Crusade Red anytime soon with only 25 being made and I only know 2 people who own it. I did get the card today in the mail No Refractor lines.

Nice pickup! I bought a PSA 10 purple Jeter once and didn't exactly get as much as I thought when I sold it.

This is what got me collecting again, his brother lol
