RE: Series 1 pricing...
I overpaid on Monahan the other day…
This should make MacKinnon a little easier to obtain in the next couple weeks. I'm not buying another box just to get that one card (I was lucky enough to pull Galchenyuk from the one I bought today).

I gave up way more than I should have in a BV for BV trade by almost $200. Last time I trade before the pricing is out.

RE: Series 1 pricing...
I don't use beckett BV for anything other than giving some estimated value for insurance purposes. By the time 14-15 UD comes out, these common YG's will be BV at $3-5 like they all normally do. I think the people that post the prices pay attention at the release, then drop pricing across the board as the market softens, then never look at it again.
And (as Randi said), don't even get me started on 90's pricing.... I'll give $200 to the first person that can point me to where I can buy the 98-99 UD Swedish Choice Sedin Dual GJ Auto for DOUBLE hi BV
So, other than the issue that the OP brings up, in trading BV before it's released - I don't see the point in complaining about beckett pricing. We all know it sucks, but it's the cream of the crap when it comes to pricing. I'll be buying my Ser 1 YG set and paying the $250 going rate and won't even bother to peek at what BV says I should pay

I bought a bit of Upper Deck S1 but no more after this pricing. I am currently testing eBay with one MacKinnon RC and a rare jersey/patch #/15 but that is likely all I'll do.

well it's wasn't as bad as it sounds though i certainly could have given up less by the looks of things. I was using my own evaluation of the sales on ebay and what i figured beckett would have as a BV. I was wrong but if i sold the cards i traded i would only be able to afford what I got in return anyways so it's all good. At least, that's what i'm telling myself lol..

I'll give you my experience. You all saw the Galchenyuk MVP Super Script /25 I pulled. I sold it yesterday on the auction site for almost double what it books at and it was the first one sold, no other sold listings. So how can it book?

That's impressive....they must have some BV calculating farce of program. It makes no sense.
