That is a wicked card. Surprised it didn't hit $1k given that it's a 1/1 from such a high-end product. Sorry you couldn't pull the trigger man. I feel that way all the time, I can relate!
I collect Michael Jordan, Mitch Richmond, and Ohio State players (football and basketball) in OSU gear. I strongly prefer 90's-era cards and use newer cards primarily for trade bait!
