had a card show out here in Greensboro this weekend. intended on going saturday plans got messed up, wouldn't be able to make it sunday either. plans free'd up sunday and off I went for a few hours of digging! had a blast, got a good variety of stuff for myself, the wife and some odds and ends to friends. scored some great deals digging in the junk boxes most of which all came from one guy.

first, the personal best:
1971 Topps Hank Aaron PSA 6. $20!
(my favorite card of all-time, my copy I've had for 20+ years now was beat up as can be when it was new to me, I wanted at least a PSA 6 - with the only personal criteria being almost perfectly centered which this one was. a hell of a deal for $20 didn't even bother haggling when he told me.

ok this is where it gets a lil long-winded and crazy. one guy in particular had around 8 monster boxes. 4 of them were just 50 cents a piece (marked down from previous day of $1 a piece) and the other 4 boxes were 3 for $1. ended up plucking out about 80 cards from one and 60 from the other. found some really awesome cards mixed in this one. starred off a few of the nicer cards/cards I really like: ended up with a total of 150 cards for $60 from him including these and some random nonsports stuff i didn't bother typing up

Nice pick-ups, looks like you did pretty good. I love going through boxes filled with insert cards for $1 or less (so long as they actually book for more than $1-$2, as I have run across them as well).
