True I don't use penny sleeves with the modern magnetic holder or even the screw-Downs when I used them because of the recessed area but this one is a straight slab just 2 thick pieces of flat plastic screwed together

Ah, I had not noticed that, my phone doesn't always show pictures on here, and I had missed that it was the screw down type slab that was flat. I don't use those, really. I have some screw down cases that have the recesses and such, which were the direct precursors to the magnetic ones, but none of the flat screw downs like this one. Thanks for pointing that out!

I heard a story once where a guy bought a 86 Jordan in a screw down. Bought a magnetic case as well. As he's unscrewing the case it is clear it's stuck....and blammo - the card separates in half! The face of the card had essentially glued itself to the case!
