2002 topps chrome question
did they mark cards as "refractor" on the back of 2002 topps chrome cards? just wondering because i recently acquired a rc from that year that has the rainbow color of a refractor but it doesnt have the marking on the back stating it is so.
unless they put it somewhere else and im missing it.

RE: 2002 topps chrome question
the rookie refractors were numbered to 100 that year, regular refractors numbered to 599

refractors rc:

the regular is also green, the refractor was black

I think the base rookies have a refractor front and are not numbered.... I could be wrong.
I believe my David Carr had a refractor front and was unnumbered....but I gave it to my ungrateful nephew back in 2002!!
. That was a decently priced card back in the day!!

ok so...
1.no serial number
2.no "refractor" label on the back
3.rookies from 2002 had the refractor face
so its in fact a base card then right?

lol i wasnt gonna make it a big issue, myself i thought it was a refractor but figured they might not have labeled them as such that year or something. i didnt collect at all during those years so i didnt know.
i think its kind of stupid to put a refractor shine on something thats not a refractor lol.

Well, it's a $15 difference right? like jacobystealshome said the regular base rookie card is green the refractor is black and numbered to 100 and is labeled a refractor.
