I need to read auctions before I buy...insert *explitive here*
Title says it all...I need to be more careful lol As most of you know, I'm working on building a complete set of 11-12 UD with YGs. I saw a YNG going ultra cheap, like 20 bucks....with 60 seconds left...so I don't even look I bid...I win for 26 bucks and I'm freaking out....I look at the description...ITS THE JUMBO!!!!!! Now, I know it's still an ok price for it...but DANG!
lol that's what I get for not being careful!

Well, at least you got a card LOL
I remember back on the old boards, before the BETA board, when a member thought they were bidding on a Crosby Rc, he bid something like $1200, won the auction, only to find out afterwards that he bid and won a screen shot of a scan of a Crosby Rc.
The Auction description full described what the buyer was bidding on, so I have no idea if they won their paypal complaint or not, or if he got his money back.

Whoa!!! That is BALLS! Lol, poor guy, always read the description i guess. I got stung once not reading descriptions - for postage - 99c auctions but charging $11 postage, $7 postage, etc and not willing to combine. All written in the description of course - lesson being never assume anything. Just sucks that theres people out there who like to make money from people in that way.
Swjrp10: You, on the other hand - always look before you leap lol. Bad luck bro, but hey, at least youre still getting a nice card

I've done that before and it's a sinking feeling. I get all excited, don't read the full description and before you know it I am saying WTF?

Well, you have to keep them in top loaders, but if you do no one will be the wiser.

A Judge Judy clip comes to mind when reading the reply about the "scan of the Crosby rookie card" Fortunately, the scammer loses the case. Its a pretty good clip.
